R.I.P my Flicker Account

I noticed last week that my Flickr badge kept displaying “no such pictures.”  Yesterday I decided to check out why that was so persisent.  It seems that my Flickr account was deleted with no notice or explanation.  I had it protected as adult content, but apparently someone didn’t find that sufficient and nuked it.  They’d better have nuked the other Flickr galleries that had pirated my artwork too lemme tell you.   grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Patty, hopefully there are other galleries that will accept your art, if not you might need to start your own .com.
I wish I knew what’s going on, we seem to have a rash of
up-tight censors invading the net and what’s more they can’t tell the difference between erotic art and pornography.
There are sites on the net that turn my stomach that even seeing once is more than I want, yet they censor spanking sites.
Oh well C’est la vie. :)
    Love and warm hugs,
    :) :) :)

Shame! It was the only art I would “copy” and send in emails to my wife. Her secret fetish. I usually got lucky when I’d get home. Thank goodness they’re still on the blog. (My sex life could really suffer.)

PS Maybe someday she will let me satisfy her fantasy.

    Keep up the good work.

    John

Oh, dear. The PC Nazis strike again. I can’t understand how your art would be targeted considering all the explicit photographs and actual pornography one finds on the net. What’s wrong with people?

You know what’s most spooky though, is that I had my Flickr gallery set with the adult content filter on. It shouldn’t have come up on the radar. I was in complete compliance with their TOS. Their Yahoo and Google affliations make me wonder if blogspot’s free hosting that are google products may not be next under scrutiny.

I know that Yahoo groups have dissapeared overnight, as have many geocities (yahoo’s web host/pseudoblog servises) pages. I’m bugged that I got no notice or warning though. That’s just mean.
