Happy New year everyoneLet’s hope 08 brings you much fun
May I share just what I think?
Embrace and please enjoy your kink
Consent is key to what you do
Acceptance of yourself is too!
‘Normal’ can seem far too bleak
When spanking is the truth you seek
I pray for you a sense of self
Where seeking this small thing brings health
By trusting that how God made you
Is something very blessed and true.
Living with complete success
Has never been, most will confess.
Just trust your heart and guide your mate
Yes patience remains the key to fate.
This thing you need is far from sin
I wish you strength as you begin
To trust your heart’s a leap of faith
The worst outcome’ you fear’s disgrace
When your needs first pierce your thoughts,
They seep into most human wants
The fear we’ll be reject you whole
Reduces us to the wounded souls.Enjoy who you are. There’ll never be another you after all

What a beautiful poem! If they ever publish a “Chicken Soup for the Spanko’s Soul”, you should submit that (giggle). Honestly, I loved it!

Patty, great start to the new year.

Love the poem, you really know the spanko soul.
Wouldn’t it be great if people were allowed to be what they are.
Love and warm hugs,
Paul.

Patty,
Happy New Year. Nice Poem, captures the spanko’s essence very well. We are always seeking community and this blog, and a few others like it, is an oasis where we can relax and enjoy ourselves reading your nicely written prose and stories. I know it takes a lot of work keeping this blog going but it is appreciated by your readers. Hope 2008 is good for you and brings you peace. Mickey

Chicken Soup for the spanko soul huh Amanda Now that’s an idea. TY.
Thank you Pauk. Yes it sure would … at least those whose pursuits are consensual.
Happy 2008 to you also Mickey I’m glad you find community here within the blog community. For the most part it’s populated by ordinary and very good people.
