Happy New Year
Well my faithful readers this post was going to be Winter Wonders Chapter 8, but last night I had an accident with a cup of coffee and my Gateway laptop’s keyboard is no more. The shipping box will arrive on Wednesday and I should have my repaired laptop back by the following Wednesday, in the meantime, Chapter 8 is trapped in my wounded Gateway along with all my scanned images.
Blech! And this dorky dell laptop keeps freezing when I try navigating.
I sure could use a good go round with a belt and a firm hand right now. Remember this?

:( Aww nuts! I hope that Chapter 8 isn’t lost in the black hole o’ Dell-land. Sorry about the computer! I absolutely hate it when stuff like that happens, but it is what it is. Here’s to you having a wonderful new year!!!!!

Nice animation. I think a session with that belt would help you focus better, what is liquid of any kind doing near your laptop? You should be writing standing up for a while,lol. Sounds like you need to invest in a external hard drive to archive all your excellent work and safe guard it for your faithful readers and future generations. I hope all is back to normal soon, I’m looking forward to Chapter 8. Mickey

The prepaid shipping box came today. A day late. I will call for pick up tomorrow. If I get my Laptop back by next Friday I’ll be very surprized. No matter, while somethings, chapter 8 of WW included are trapped and finished on my gateway, chapter 9 & 10 (and now 11 & 12) and anything new are still safe and in the process of being fleshed out.

I’m doing my best Jeff, The shit hit the fan the other day. Thank goodness the oldest of my family visitors bought Blue Cross Blue Sheild travelers insurance, and thank goodness they were in San Antonio when her health took a turn. I’ve not just been distracted by computer issues, I’ve been out of town and back, and will likely be out of town again this weekend.
Honest, Paul except for spell & grammar check, chapter 8 was done, and that was all that was pending for chapter 8. I always make grammar & content errors even when I do word checks, I rarely fix them unless they really confuse the story. Please trust me thar chapter 8’s done & 9 & 10 are well fleshed out. I’ll have to completely rewrite 8 if I can’t get it back. I could, but it would take me days & I’ll get lost trying to remember how I did X, Y or Z. This dorky dell barely lets my get online. It’s Very dorky!
Thanks Maiden. I really hate letting people down. It distresses me in the extreme. I hope gateway can give me back my laptop whole.

Edited: I wrote this last evening and then got distracted by a phone call. My Aunt took a bad turn, and this morning she passed away. Considering this was my cousin’s first trip down here and their vacation is ruined. Everyone is pretty broken up. I’m in San Antinio tonight been driving up here most of today. I’ll hug everyone goodbye at the Airport tommorrow, Unfortunately I will not be able to make the trip to Canada for for the funeral. At least I get to say goodbye.
