;) Yup mine too, but memories are their own kind of gifts aren’t they? Imagine what life would be like if we didn’t have them. I love and cherish my memories even the ones that are still painful. They remind me that what I have is precious.
And sometimes God knows better for us. There’s a song I hear often on the radio even still today, it came out new just after I lost Fred so it’s stayed with me. I’ve thought about it alot this past year and marvelled that it is still popular on the radio roster. The key words in the lyrics that always make my heart lurch & my mind wander are “….I thank God for unanswered prayers…. some of our/God’s greatest gifts are often…. unanswered prayers….”
I’m cozy with a quiet Christmas. Todd will be home next week, finals are going on now, we’ll go to Fred’s parents’ place on Christmas. Yup he’ll be out more than in while he’s home, but that’s good - reconnecting with his friends is as essential for him as it is for me when I go home.
I’m wishing you as cozy a Christmas as I’m going to have. Quiet, peaceful and all as it should be.

Man o man Maggie Talk about encouraging words. Yes folks have told me they think that. I’ve got a very thick insecure skin though. Sorta like pretty women who think ther’re fat. I keep trying to please hoping for balm like the wonderful comments folks leave me here.
