Question number 1: What are three of the stupidest things you’ve done in your life?
In order:

Hmmm so many.  Let’s keep it light.
1. I ate a whole flat of Dare digestive cookies by myself one Sunday afternoon when I’d been left alone to my own devices.  After shortbreads, they were my favorite cookie.  By bedtime and all the next day I discovered why they were called ‘digestive’ cookies

2.  I tried on a dress with a stylishly snug bodice in a really small fitting room on a hot summer day.  It looked really nice, if just a little bust liftingly risqué, but I couldn’t get it off.  The polyester lining and the high waste tight around the middle style made it impossible to pull over my head while standing upright.  There was no room to bend properly! And it just would not fit down over my hips without ripping.  After trying desperately for several minutes to get it over my head, finding myself trapped, arms in the air and unable to lever the fabric up, reaching a very sweaty near panic, I had to bump the door, cry out for help and beg the sales clerk to help me pull it off while I bent at the waste.  Needless to say I didn’t buy it even though it was quite flattering and very pretty.

3.  I left my sketchbook behind in a hotel.  It had 6 spanking drawings in various stages of completion in it.
Question number 2: At the current moment, who has the most influence on your life? After God, I have to say I do.  It’s my choices and prayers that are making profound changes in my life including bringing John into it.   Question number 3: If you were given a time machine that functioned, and you were allowed to only pick five people to dine with, who would you pick?

  1. Emeril Legasse
  2. Julia Child
  3. Wolfgang Puck
  4. Iron Chef;  Hiroyuli Sakai
  5. Iron Chef; Masaharu Morimoto

Of course they would all do the cooking too.

Question number 4: If you had three wishes that were not supernatural, what would they be?

Hmmm what exactly does that mean?
How about I just apply the Law of Attraction…

  1. I can have John as my partner, I deserve John as my partner, I already have John in my life, and we will live out our lives together as husband and wife who practice DD.
  2. I’m going to get spanked to my hearts content every day between July 18 and 22, and again in September.
  3. Work will continue to become fun again and both John and my finances will align to enable John and me to close the physical distance between us permanently.

Question number 5: Someone is visiting your hometown/place where you live at the moment. Name two things you regret your city not having, and two things people should avoid.

We don’t have mountains, although there are many other attractions.  We don’t have very many trees that are more than just scrub out in the wild landscape.  It makes driving in the countryside a bit monotonous sometimes.

Don’t hike off the trails without long pants and sturdy shoes and socks even if it’s hot.  All of the brush around here is VERY prickly and both the Eastern and Western diamondback rattlesnakes live here in abundance.  Avoid eating tacos from street vendors.

Question number 6: Name one event that has changed your life?

Changing my major from Phys- Ed to Nursing Question number 7: Is not a question. It’s a command. Tag five other people.

Hmmm.Tag Im it…Okay,,Three stupid things Ive done
1)I once filed bankruptcy, more on the advice of supposedly knowledgable people, including a lawyer. It was no solution.
2)After shooting a three inch nail through my wrist(at work,of course)and following its removal at a medical clinic,I ran 9 miles back to my workplace to retrieve my vehicle,in ninety degree heat.I was driven there by a fellow employee who left to go back to work.He wasnt there when I was ready to leave so I took off.Probably not a good idea.I made it safely of course, but it was an unpopular decision with several people.
3)Not giving myself credit for things that I accomplished earlier in my life, when I was in the moment.I could have enjoyed so much more if I had been a little more clear in the analysis of my accomplishments.
Question Numero Dos(Parading my cultural diversity here)-Right now two people have the most influence on me.My girlfriend and my son.
Question 3-Five people to dine with…hmmm.Im assuming this question is sort of a historical barometer to gauge ones interests,so I will operate with that in mind:Lee Harvey Oswald(a couple hundred questions for him)Sun Tzu(author of,The Art of War,which I find fascinating and applicable in other areas besides killing people.)Wyatt Earp(If half of the legends are true Id wanna hear about them)Steve Irwin(anyone that excited and that happy about anything would be great to share a dinner with)Julio Cesar Chavez(Champion boxer)
Question 4-That all of that select group of people that I love would live happy, long, fulfilling lives in close proximity to me.
Question 5-Two things to avoid-Skunks and ex-wives.Not necessarily in that order. Two things that I regret the area not having?Good cell phone reception and a better job market.
Question 6-One event that changed my life.-I held my son a minute or two after he was born,If that doesnt change your life nothing will.
Sorry I dont know 5 other people well enough to tag so,,,If youre reading consider yourself tagged.

  5. John Says:

    Patty,

I loved your answers to number 4!!

Jeff, I had to laugh at your mention of the skunks. Tonight at work–I came within about 10 feet of one! I quickly veered off in another direction and quickened my steps. Thankfully, although I had startled him or her–I was not sprayed. Whew!

    God bless,

    John

  6. Maggie Says:

Very interesting responses! I hope that those wishes become reality. Thanks for the tag! (I emailed you my answers)

    ;)

to explain that in an emergency room)
-Started smoking and went back when I quit.
2.Who has the most influence on my life right now.
    -Me

    -My little brother
    -My Grandmother
-Relatives (or a relative) who came over on the
    Mayflower.

-Calvin Coolidge(only because he was my greatgrandmothers
cousin, and since she lived healthfully to 101 she
talked some about him to us.)
4.If I had 3 wishes, they would be
-To have doctors find a cure or at least a better way to
    control the pain from RSD.

-That my brothers and sisters remain happy in their
    relationships with and their families.

contains a mall, tons of chain stores, restaurants and
    traffic.
-Driving through the rest of town with their windows down
during fertalizing season for the farmers

    Love,
    Becca
